07.08.25 TUE
1.5 inches of rain 😲
07.07.25 MON – 2 baby calves!
We had 2 mommas that were both due on 7/7/25 and they BOTH had happy, healthy, bouncing baby calves on their due date
07.04.25 FRI – 2 more Nubians
We picked up 2 Nubian weanlings from Arlington, NE and are SO excited to have them!
06.30.25 MON
We sold a total of 18 goats in the month of June 😲 with our last 3 of them going to their new homes on the very last day
06.23.25 MON – Pick up our first Skid Steer from SD
Jeff drove to Aberdeen SD to pick up our very own (used) skid steer!
We named him EL TORO
It was a ROUGH 19 hour day of travel, but he made it back safe and sound (praise the Lord!)
06.18.25 WED
Our final goat momma of the season, Padme, delivered the most precious baby girl
06.16.25 MON – Processing Day
We processed 1 sheep and our first goat – it was a rough day for Lorraine 💔
06.14.25 SAT – Lamb Weaning Day
All our lambs were sold, and they’re now 3 months old so we are weaning them for a few weeks before pickup in July (so they’re less stressed when they leave)
06.01.25 SUN
We splurged on a large piece of equipment and never looked back
05.17.25 SAT – Our 6 year anniversary ❤️
There’s no days off in farming, so today included regular chores, banding 3 baby goats, and an early Memorial Day BBQ

A Note on Affiliate Links
Transparency is part of our Shalom.
As we share updates about our farm and personal life, we often link to the tools, books, and resources we truly use and love. Some of these are affiliate links.
You'll also find links to our own products, waitlists, and occasionally items we've sourced for resale — we only share what we'd use ourselves.
If you click a link and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Think of it as a "thank you" to us from the brand for the referral. These small contributions help us cover our ever-growing farm expenses and allow us to keep sharing our journey with you in a sustainable way.
